The Blazer Pocket Micro Torch (model PB-207) is my favorite lighter to use with a DynaVap or Sticky Brick.  It is manufactured in Japan and made to a level of quality that is far beyond that of a typical cheap butane junker.  The Blazer Micro Torch uses the industry’s first piezoelectric quartz crystal ignition system to reliably spark a 2500° wind-proof flame that can be locked on, plus it has a good safety on the trigger to keep you from accidentally lighting it.  Precision engineering and attention to detail make the Pocket Micro Torch the best there is for a butane powered vape.  The heat source is obviously very important to this entire experience, and it is definitely worth the extra expense to make sure you have a quality torch, especially if you drive your DynaVap or Sticky Brick daily.

      Best single flame hands down.

      My first lasted well over a year and far exceeded expectations. This is my second and only wish I could see the fuel level. Also the orange is flaking off but still 5 star despite.

      Fantastic customer service

      I originally ordered a different slimline torch but the item was accidentally oversold so Pete tossed me a chonky discount on the Pocket Micro to make up for the inconvenience. I hadn't intended to spend this much money on a torch but wow, you do indeed get what you pay for. I've had a succession of weaksauce single-flame chinesium $20 torches and the quality and performance here is utterly incomparable. The flame is so intense I get cherry red glowing metal on my dynavap cap if I don't spin it quick enough. Heats it up lickety-split. It's also a joy to refill compared to the cheapos with consistently quick refueling and no fighting with overpressurized tanks. Definitely worth the money.

      High cost of admission but worth it

      This thing burns hot and heavy. The flame on its lowest setting is higher than the highest on my Honest single-flame and way hotter. If I use my Dyna with this bad boy like I'd use it with a cheap torch I'll end up combusting for sure. You have to spin really fast or hold it at the very end of the soft blue flame, which isn't easy to do in daylight so, spin fast! Even at the lowest setting this lighter is fine in a light to medium (perhaps even a strong) wind. You'll have to use the hard, inner blue flame unless the softer one is more predictable or highly visible but it holds up in a 30-40km/hr wind reasonably well (especially if you turn it up about halfway). Using it with a Sticky Brick (Jr) is tricky but totally doable. I find this torch seems to distribute the heat more evenly over the bowl so I get a way more consistent, even extraction. If I do get hotspots, they're a lot wider than they are with my Honest or Zippo butane insert torches. It's a lot easier to use with the flame farther back from your face than the Jr really can do so I prefer it with the WPA, though it's still perfectly usable natively with the Jr MP.

      Love it!

      Great little torch that has a surprisingly big butane reservoir. The flame at its lowest setting is still bigger than the highest setting on my other inexpensive torches. And I quite enjoy not having to hold down the trigger once the torch is lit.

      A solid, reliable, and safe flame-giver.

      A great lighter. Bought this because I had a nasty experience with a cheaper lighter that BURST into flame in my hand the first time I used it. For this reason, I opted for something with Made in Japan quality, and the Blazer delivers. I guess that's why this particular model has been in production for 38 years! There was a nice orange one that matches my car, so I bought it. Only negatives are the high price tag, and also a chip about 2mm x 3mm appeared in the finish the very first day of use, for no reason. For these reasons, I gave it 4, rather than 5 stars.
