Sneaky Pete Says:

The Maraca Glass Stem combines many different cooling elements in one piece that’s convenient and comfortable to hold and use.  The tip end is sized to fit any stainless steel or titanium DynaVap tip, and The Maraca Stem’s glass it thick and durable.  Behind the tip is a shotgun carb to clear the entire stem with a massive rush to the head.  After the carb is a restriction point followed by an expansion chamber, causing even more cooling.  The chamber contains 3 glass beads to further condition and cool the vapour, and it's enclosed at the backend by a pinch point with 3 pokes.  Finally, 3 glass nipples agitate the vapour completely before ending at the mouthpiece, much cooler and cleaner than when it left the tip.

On top of everything else, it can double as a musical instrument.  Name another DynaVap stem that can do that 😉

Good quality glass, cools nicely, beads should be bigger

Overall this is a good stem. The glass is thick and feels quite durable, the carb isn't sharp or anything and it cools pretty dang well. The bubble is visually cool in use but the beads get gummed up with use and stop falling to the bottom of the chamber, so you either have to hit them with your torch or not use them at all. If you do heat them before use they condition the vapour quite nicely. You can hear the turbulence in the airflow if you pull hard. The carb helps cool things off if I heat the cap high and the nipples at the end finish the job. I'm not sure this is better than a Hula stem unless you heat the beads so they do their job, but it looks pretty cool.
