Sneaky Pete Says:

These Silicone Carbide Bowls for the Puffco Peak provide exceptional flavour and allow lower temperature use with their superior thermal performance.  These bowls are very efficient and add a cool look to your Peak as well.  A unique and premium upgrade to your Puffco Peak!  Silicone Carbide bowls may have small imperfections on the very edge of the bowl due to the manufacturing process but they are very stable and will not chip/flake off in any way.

We get these silicone carbide bowls custom made by our manufacturer, they do not come from Puffco.

Mediocre performance

The price seems cheap compared to the more expensive SiC inserts on the market but I think in this case you get what you pay for rather than a true bargain. The insert has a fitted bottom but fit very loosely allowing for a lot of movement when q-tipping it. I think that may have contributed to the early death of my first 2 atomizers. I had to run it on red or white to get decent vapour and still felt like it needed more to vaporize fully. I found the insert hard to clean fully with a q-tip as the surface is not polished and rounded and even had some black powder as if it just came off the assembly line; it had an unfinished feel to it. The vapour did taste better but I wasted too much in the process to make it worth it. I now own one of the more expensive SiC inserts and the experience is night and day compared to this one. I use that one on blue or green and get a full vape hit with minimal pooling and with the polished surface it's much easier to keep clean. If the pricier ones are in your budget I would suggest just buying one of those instead and you'll save money in the long run. I really wanted to like this one so I could save a few bucks but just wasn't worth it in the end.
