The Fury Edge by Healthy Rips

Sneaky Pete Says:

From the engineers behind The Fierce and The Fury 2 (2018 Vaporizer of The Year), the new Fury Edge raises the bar again for Healthy Rips.  Like its siblings, The Edge is made of extremely tough Kirksite alloy and although it's just 1cm taller than a Fury 2 it packs 40% more capacity into the 2300mAh battery.  It can be charged much faster via a USB-C connection, plus there's new haptic feedback response.  The airpath is now completely stainless-steel and there is a glass mouthpiece included as well.

The best upgrade is the new accessory attachment.  You can now load your Edge, pop the attachment onto the bowl, and insert any water pipe adapter or bubbler etc.  You can even change accessories in the middle of a session.  Pound for pound and dollar for dollar, the Healthy Rips Fury Edge will be a heavyweight contender for a long time to come.

Cool look, good build quality, great performance, decent flavour but a little harsh at high temps

This went on a little long so the TL;DR is basically the title. This is a great midrange vape but keep your expectations with regards to the vapour quality realistic. You won't get Mighty-level smoothness but you will get decent flavour and the option of a mostly glass airpath. I like the regular mouthpiece a helluva lot more than I thought I would; it restricts the airflow really nicely and at lower temps, for fast extractions or for a newbie to vaping that can be very useful. The accessory attachment fitting DynaVap glass stems is a killer app, imo. It's not just nice because you can use fancy stems, it also opens up the airflow quite a bit; about 1.5-2x the airflow if you're using a straight tube stem. The Hula V2 stem cools the vapour so much that I almost immediately ordered a Hula XL V2 after trying it. The Hula V2 in Ocean is what's in the picture that I've attached to this review. The mostly convection heater feels reasonably accurate and considering this is a solidly midrange device I'm perfectly happy with it. It heats up very fast, much faster than the radiant heat of the ArGo (30s tops vs. 60-75s for the ArGo). It's honestly as close to on demand as I think you'll find in a session vape. You get huge rips after the first **** if you start at max temp. The visible vapour is rather weak under 190°C/375°F but the flavour comes through very nicely, especially through a glass stem. The vapor quality over 210°C/410°F plus the lack of a removable battery and the accessory attachment feeling kinda flimsy are really my only knocks on this device. Everything else is pretty great. I've mentioned the ArGo, which I just sold because it extracted way too slowly for my liking; this guy can get a full extraction from a medium-packed, full oven in under 3 1/2 minutes. I sometimes need to medicate really fast and this thing rocks for that. To cap off this review I need to say that Sneaky Pete and crew offer some of the best customer service I've had period, never mind in the cannabis vape hardware scene. Most cannabis vape dealers I've dealt with have taken days to ship from the ordering time and have had anything from ineffectual to downright snarky customer service; it's so the opposite with these guys. I've had things ship same-day when I ordered them at 9am local time and they really treat you well even if you're asking your first question before you even order. I don't really feel like ordering from anywhere else, honestly. Thanks to Sneaky Pete and associates for bringing such a dope vape to us so bloody fast (and everything else, of course). Literally a week and a half from launch and he had them in stock. The Hula/Aristocrat stem deal was so awesome too. Cheers!
